Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): “Reload” a youth rally organised by the Baptist Youth Fellowship Dimapur (BYFD) and the Assembly of God Youth Joint Fellowship, Dimapur scheduled for July 29 promises to be rejuvenating.
A first time collaboration between the two church denominations, “Reload” has its target set on the youths of Nagaland. Reverend Dr. Jacob Cherian from the Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore will be the Speaker at the programme at Town Baptist Church.
The organisers of the event told reporters at a press conference today that the objective is to spread the gospel to the youths of Nagaland. “There are many lost souls in Nagaland,” one member said. They feel that the event will rejuvenate the youths who are otherwise too busy with their life to listen to the word of God. The also added that it will be a good platform for the youths to explore their talents.
Dr. Jacob is visiting Nagaland for the first time. He said that young people need to hear the word of God; to have a meaningful and purposeful life. His message will be based on transformation. Entry if free and everybody is invited.
