Dimapur, January 27 (MExN): The Rengma GBs’ Association has appealed to all villages under Rengma area and Nagas in general to co-operate with respective village councils for the forth coming nomination of Village Council Members (VCM) and Village Council Chairman (VCC).
The Association in a press release issued by its president Gwachung Chung has appealed to the public to bear in mind while nominating/selecting VCM and VCC “a person having good quality, integrity, educated and leadership quality who can deliver all round development to the villages.”
Further, the Association also request all public to maintain conducive peaceful atmosphere during the process of nomination of members and election/selection of VCCs. The use of alcohol and other unwanted activities sho7uld be avoided, the president also added.
