Residential teachers’ orientation camp held

Dimapur, July 21 (MExN): Janjati Shiksha Samiti (Vidya Bharati) organized a three-day residential teachers’ orientation camp from July 16 to 19 at Kevijau Village, Dimapur.  

A press release from Mangyangtula Jamir, Administrator-cum-Office Secretary, Janjati Shiksha Samiti, Nagaland informed that the camp covered the following topics: Oneness great country Bharat with multiplicity; How to develop digital ideas of students through computer education and importance of media in Bharat; English Language – Teaching-learning methods, formulae and techniques; Patriotic Nagaland; How to develop motivation nature of teachers in teaching-learning process; What is the role of teachers as Acharya (Own Behaviours) for surrounding development of students; teaching-learning skills; Teaching-learning process with short lesson plan under the conception of Vidya Bharati Panchpadi Shikshan Padhati; Behaviours of patriotism; True and traditional education aims for traditional country; How to decorate the school to attract and motivate the students, guardians and society; ESL – English speaking learners; Experience of my 40 years in the field of education; Principles of teaching-learning; and How to speak english language in class room with teaching-learning process.  

The topics were covered by twelve resource persons from SD Jain Girls College, Pranabanand Women’s College, and Holy Cross School.  

Thirty teachers from three schools in Dimapur, Jalukie and Dhansiripar run under Janjati Shiksha Samiti (Vidya Bharati) participated in the camp. The participants acknowledged that they learnt a lot of new things on how to deal with students, how to keep the classrooms environment active, how to motivate the students etc during the camp, according to the press release.
