Review meeting for lab technicians held in Zbto

Zunheboto, August 20 (MExN): Chief Medical Officer Office, Zunheboto held its review meeting for lab technicians at the CMO’s Office on August 20.

Dr K Akaho Sema, Deputy CMO, Zunheboto motivated the lab technicians to be punctual and sincere. He emphasized on weekly and monthly submission of lab reports saying disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters. He said the district is slowly picking up and doing a good job however there was a lot that needed to be improved in the delivery of health services. He also challenge the lab technicians to achieved the targets set and stay in their respective place of posting regularly. He also encouraged the lab technicians to put their best efforts and improve the overall lab test reporting in the district and told them to co-ordinate among the different vertical programmes.

The lab technicians also shared their grievances and problems during the discussion hour. Vitoli, DPM reviewed the block-wise performance of the district Lab technicians and gave a refresher training on the various reporting formats.
A press release issued by Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO office Zunheboto stated that the review meeting was attended by lab technicians from ICTC, NVBDCP and RNTCP. Altogether, 17 lab technicians attended the meeting.
