RHPPT donates masks and sanitizers

From making masks and sanitisers to contributing funds, many Nagas have pitched in to help citizens and government prepare for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in Nagaland, which is gradually spreading across the country.

 

On Monday, a charitable trust called Rson Heart for Poor People Trust (RHPPT) donated 200 pieces of 3 ply surgical masks and 2 litres of sanitizer to the DBs at the Dimapur Deputy Commissioner office.

 

The trust was founded in memory of Rson, son of RHPPT Chairman Dr Roland Lotha.

 

Earlier on March 29, the RHPPT also donated 2000 masks and 10 litres of sanitizers each to the District Administration, Dimapur Police department as well as the COVID-19 task force, Dimapur.

 

Another 300 masks and 2 litres of sanitizer will be given to the GBs association on Tuesday, Dr Roland said.

 

The Trust has also pledged 500 bags of rice to the District Administration for feeding the hungry out of which 200 bags of rice has been handed over to the District Administration.
