Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): Neiphiu Rio Lok Sabha MP and Former Chief Minister of Nagaland along with Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change Neiba Kronu made a courtesy call to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his office resident New Delhi.
During the brief interaction with the Home Minister, Neiphiu Rio urged upon the Union Home Minister Government of India for an early settlement of the Naga political issue. He also mentioned that with the settlement of Naga problem peace and development can come true in the state and to the North East Region in general.
The Union Home Minister said that during his visit to the state for Hornbill festival he will meet the state leaders, both the Union Home Minister and MP will be travelling together for the hornbill festival in the state.
