RMSA teachers 2013 batch demand 7th ROP

DIMAPUR, MAY 23 (MExN): The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) teachers 2013 batch today expressed concern at what it termed was the “lackadaisical attitude” of the Government of Nagaland in denying them the 7th ROP despite being regular state employees.

A press note from the Nagaland RMSA Teachers Association 2013 reminded the government that their appointment is in par with the state pay grade and other allowances or rates prescribed by the Government of Nagaland from time to time.

The association also reminded the government that the teacher recruitment in 2013 was conducted by the Government of Nagaland under the Directorate of School Education through open competitive exam and not by the CSS (RMSA or SSA).

“The RMSA 2013 batch is entitled to regular payment enjoying scale pay, NPS, yearly increment and in the seniority list of Graduate Teacher of education sector,” it claimed.

While urging the government and the concerned department to address the issue with urgency before June 10, it cautioned that failure to do so would compel the association to follow its own course of action.
