RNCA appreciates NSCN (IM)’s decision

Cachar , April 7 (MExN): The Rongmei Naga Council, Assam (RCNA) has expressed its appreciation to the  “thoughtful and rightful decision” taken by the TataR Hoho of the NSCN (IM) on March 23 for”separately recognising  Zeme, Liangmei and Rongmei Naga as different tribal communities.”   This was due since long, said the RNCA, described as “an apex body of Rongmei Naga civil society in Assam,” in a press statement.   “We firmly believe that this affirmative judgement will provide and confirm the better opportunities, and will offer the full and required space for each tribe representation and their prospects,” it added.
