Punglwa, September 7 (MExN): Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 5 where teachers were honoured and appreciated for their unflinching effort towards education and all round development of cadets.

 

As per the School traditions, the School Captain took over the duty as acting Principal and other appointments took charge as Administrative Officer and Vice Principal respectively. The senior cadets dressed up as teachers and took classes for the first three periods. Thereafter, Cadets staged various entertaining programmes and expressed their gratitude to their teachers for playing a catalytic role in the holistic development in them.

 

School Captain Cdt Sendemo Tsanglao in his speech acknowledged the values imparted by the teachers which ultimately mould an individual’s personality.

 

Gp Capt Sharad R Keskar, Principal, SSP while addressing the teachers lauded their sincere efforts as educators and urged them to continue it so as to achieve the desired goal of the school. He also asked the cadets to take note of the words of wisdom spoken by the teachers and focus on academics. As a token of appreciation, he presented a gift voucher to all the teachers.

 

On the occasion, the school also launched the new look for School website developed by Khogendro A PGT Comp Sc. Post function, an exhibition volleyball match was organized between staff and cadets wherein staff won the match.
