Phek, November 30 (MExN): The Sakraba -Chizami RD road constructed under MGNREGA during 2017-18 was inaugurated by Razouvolie Dozo, Project Director, DRDA Phek on November 29 at Sakraba Village in the presence of Veduzo Sasu, BDO RD block Chizami.
The chief guest expressed his happiness for the success of the project and called upon the village leaders to judiciously use the fund from the Government and develop the village with proper planning. Every village should have proper planning, lack of proper planning leads to misappropriation of funds provided by the Government to the village for development, failure of programmes and development as well as corruption.
With the competition of the said road the distance from Sakraba to Chizami of 40KM is reduced to 8 KM for which the people of Centre Chakhesang Areas expressed their gratitude to the DRDA, Phek, and the Rural Development Department, Sakraba VDB Secretary Kuhusheyi said in a press release.
The programme was attended by village leaders of both Centre Chakhesang and Chizami area and Department officers from DRDA, Phek and RD block Chizami.
