DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The Seyochung Area Students' Union (SASU) has submitted a seven day ultimatum to the DEO/SDEO, Kiphire to take action against proxy teachers in the Seyochung area. A press note from the SASU stated that it had earlier cautioned government teachers to perform their duty in their respective places of posting. “However they paid no heed to this plea,” it said. As such, the SASU urged the DEO/SDEO to take action against those teachers within 7 days from submission of this ultimatum. Failing to do so would compel the union to take further steps at higher levels, the SASU cautioned.
