District Level training on February 10
Kohima, February 5 (MExN): One day Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) MIS Application workshop cum training programme was held at VC Conference hall in the New Secretariat Complex where Ahola Those, Secretary Urban Development Department, Government of Nagaland was the chef guest.
The meeting was chaired by Kezungulo Medikhru, Technical Director & State Informatics Officer (SIO), NIC, Government of India. The introductory and brief outline of the SBM was given by him and the Secretary (Urban Development) outlined the departmental progress on SBM and the main objective of SBM.
The MIS application was explained by Sanjay Pandey, Scientist “C”, NIC & OSD, Municipal Affairs Department, Kohima. The meeting was also attended by SMB Mission Directorate Nodal Officer Tarachu Fithu, Deputy Director, Directorate of Urban Development Department and other UD IT officials.
The State Co-ordinator of Common Service Centre (CSC) Akumla Aier and her CSC team also attended. The District Informatics Officers (DIO) who could not attend the meeting physically were linked through Video Conferencing and training was imparted.
TD & SIO, NIC Kezungulo Medikhru has informed in a press release that the District Level training programme will be organized on February 10 the respective NIC District Centres for the Administrator of Urban Local Bodies with the respective Deputy Commissioner as chief guest.
