Wokha, February 10 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS, in collaboration with Miss Wokha and the runners-up launched a Clean Election signature campaign on February 9 at DC office, Wokha.
District Election Office, Wokha is starting the signature campaign, a noble initiative, with the target of getting at least 20 to 30 thousand signatures so as to promote the cause of Clean Election, said the DC & DEO speaking at the launching ceremony.
Miss Wokha along with her team will visit remote households in all the four Assembly Constituencies of the district to get signature from volunteers to support the Clean Election campaign. He expressed optimism that the message of clean election will reach the grassroots level with the initiative.
