SKK appeals NPSC to nullify result of one

Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) today appealed to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) Chairman to nullify the recent declaration of NCS, NPS, NSS and Allied Service, 2018, under NPSC, dated 19-12-2019 with regard to a candidate bearing Roll no – 4567.

SKK President Atokiho Sumi and Assistant General Secretary Benjamin Kinimi, in a letter appraised the NPSC Chairman on the genuineness of indigenous inhabitancy of the candidate who has been selected in the recently declared results of NPSC.
“It may be brought to your notice that the candidate is neither an indigenous inhabitant of Kiphire nor does she belong to any Schedule Tribe of Nagaland.” However, in the recent result declaration of NPSC Exam 2018, the candidate has been selected for the post of Secretariat Assistant (SA), “which has defied all the norms and procedure set by the Government of Nagaland,” said the letter.

If the result is not nullified, it will cause injustice to the deserving educated and qualified candidates who are actual indigenous inhabitant of Kiphire, Nagaland, the SKK held, while adding that it will “set a bad precedence to our system.”
In this regard, the SKK made a “fervent request” to the Authority to take “prompt action and immediately nullify the result” of the said candidate “to give opportunity to the deserving candidates who are indigenous inhabitant of Kiphire and Nagaland.”
