Small Industrial Bank of India conducts workshop

Kohima, March 16 (MExN): Small Industrial Bank of India conducted a workshop at the Conference hall of the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Kohima on March 15. The workshop was attended by General Managers of all district industries centre and entrepreneurs from various fields.  

It was chaired by Project Manager, Er. Kenyune Lorin. After a brief welcome speech by Director of Industries I. Bendangliba, the Manager of SIDBI, S. Pauminthang Gangte gave the presentation on Credit Guarantee Scheme and Stand up India. The Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGS) was launched by the Government of India (GOI) to make available collateral-free credit to the Micro and Small Enterprise Sector. Both existing and new enterprises are eligible to be covered under the Scheme.  

The Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), established a Trust named Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) to implement the Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises. S. Pauminthang Gangte urged the officers and entrepreneurs to avail these Schemes.  

The workshop concluded with vote of thanks by Er Temsulong Jamir, Additional Director, Industries and Commerce.
