Dimapur, September 1 (MExN): A farewell programme was organized at the Directorate Conference hall, Soil & Water Conservation Department in honour of E James Lotha, Additional Director and Head of Department. E. James Lotha, the outgoing HoD recounted the days of his childhood and how God raised him up from a humble background. He encouraged the junior officers to develop good work culture and not to run after riches. He also stated the importance of inclusivity and encouraged the officers and staff of the department to cooperate and march ahead with humility and hard work.
The programme was chaired by Viliehu Nguzhu, Joint Director, scripture reading and invocation prayer by Chubalila, Superintendent and a special song was presented by Thejasetuo Alex Solo and friends. Bio data of the outgoing officers was read out by Zaseveito, Superintendent. Short speeches were delivered by Lily Tep, DSCO, Tuensang on behalf of outpost officers and staff; and SN Singh, Additional Director and incoming HOD. The vote of thanks was proposed by Kevingutso Rutsa, Joint Director.
