SON organizes Special Christmas

Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): Special Olympics Nagaland (SON) celebrated its 7th Special Christmas for differently-abled persons on December 9 at C-Edge College, Dimapur.  

Special Christmas is a yearly event to share the joy of Christmas love with persons with disabilities and their fans, according to a press release from SON.  

Message of Christmas Love was shared by Nino Phira, Administrator of Highland School, Dimapur and prayer was said by Pastor Sadem Lemtor of Naga United Ao Baptist Church, Dimapur.  

Dances, songs, choreographies, testimonies were presented by differently-abled persons from Nagaland Blind School, former students of Deaf Biblical Ministry, Sliver Lines Academy, St. Mary Montessori Special Class, Prodigal Homes with their special talents and gifts, the release said.  

It added that the 7th Special Christmas was marked with “deeper understanding of God’s wonderful purpose for each and every soul.”  

The family of Special Olympics Nagaland has expressed gratefulness to Dr. Chubatola, Principal of C-Edge College, the organising team of C-Edge College, and all the sponsors of this year’s programme.
