DIMAPUR, APRIL 26 (MExN): The inter-house basketball championship of Sainik School Punglwa 2018-19 concluded on a high note with Melak House winning the junior and overall inter-house basketball championship. The inter-house basketball championship was played in two categories i.e. junior and sub junior category starting from April 19.
The final match for junior category was played between Melak House and Doyang House on April 25. In a tough match, Melak beat Doyang 41– 29. Melak earlier winning the final against Saramati in sub junior category and replicating the same in the junior category were crowned as overall basketball champions.
Doyang and Patkai houses claimed second and third positions respectively. Rokozobei Nisa of Melak House was adjudged the best player in junior category.
