SSPN celebrates Hindi Pakhwada

Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): Sainik School Punglwa celebrated Hindi Pakhwada from September 1-14 with the aim to promote Hindi language and encourage the cadets to optimize its use in their communication.  

The School stated in a press release that as part of celebration, school assemblies were conducted in Hindi. Various activities- Hindi Quiz Competition, General Knowledge Competition, Essay Writing Competition and Debate Competition were conducted for the cadets as a part of Inter House Competition.  

Tizu House emerged as the overall winner of the competition, Patkai House and Saramati House secured second and third positions respectively. Lt Col MK Meitei, the officiating Principal graced the final day of the Pakhwada as chief guest. He presented medals and certificates to the winners. The chief guest while addressing the cadets conveyed his complimentary to all the participants and winners. He spoke on the importance of Hindi as a language in India and stated that it is necessary for an individual to learn this national language.
