St John School Razeba conducts literary competition

PHEK, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): St. John School Razeba conducted literary competition from September 24 to 26 with Rev Fr KC James, Principal, Bishop Abraham Memorial School, Phek as the guest speaker during the inaugural programme.  

The guest speaker in his inaugural speech told to the students that, “Learning is not confined to the class room or text book knowledge rather they should go beyond and discover their hidden talents”. He encouraged the teachers and parents to create a cordial and healthy relationship between them for the growth of the children. He emphasized that one need not be well-educated to guide their children’s daily studies.  

Michael Krocha, St. Ignatius Church Razeba Catechist invoked God’s blessing, which was followed by Class 7 students who presented a song to greet and congratulate the guest speaker as he celebrates his silver jubilee of priestly ordination. On the first day, Zhavame Students Union conducted Inter schools Quiz and Spelling Bee competitions.The literary competitions included group song, choreography, western dance, indigenous, poem & bible recitations, quartet, essay writing and drawing.
