St Paul Phesama celebrates Parents’ Day

St Paul School, Phesama celebrated Parents’ Day with HS Cheema, Commandant, 44 Mountain Brigade, Zakhama as the chief guest.   In his address, he stressed that education should develop skills along with knowledge and advised the students to become resourceful to the state and the nation. He recalled his own childhood days and shared to the students the things that changed his thinking and life.   Speaking on behalf of the parents, Dr. Kekhrieseno Christina thanked the school and the teaching staff for shouldering the responsibility to mould the future generation. She highlighted the responsibilities of the parents in guiding and molding the children. She also challenged the students to make best use of the facilities provided by the school and design their future accordingly. She thanked the students for showing their love and appreciation through the programmes. Thanking the students for their love and gratitude she said, “We love you more than you love us”.   The progamme began with the prayer dance and followed by welcome address by the principal. The school report was read by the headmistress highlighting the various activities, achievements and struggles of the school. The best student of each class was recognized and awarded.
