St. Paul’s Sanis lays foundation for new building

Dimapur, April 30 (MExN): The foundation for a new three-storey school building of St. Paul School, Sanis was laid down with a special programme today in Sanis.  

Lawrence Gligliotti, Programme Manager, Catholic Mission, Australia laid the foundation stone and unveiled the plague on the occasion while it was blessed by Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima on April 29.  

Rev. Fr. Mathew Mhabemo, Centre in-charge of Sanis, Jose Sebastian; construction supervisor of the diocese, Thomas Toretkiu; Sisters of the Divine Providence; Pastors from different churches; Village leaders; Catholic community; and parents and students attended the event.  

The Bishop, speaking on the occasion, said that the long cherished dream of having good school building for the St. Paul School, Sanis was being realized with the support from the diocese of Bathurst, Australia and the presence of Lawrence was very significant.  

Return their good gesture by being responsible persons, especially by inculcating values to the gospel and living by them, thus making a small difference to the society, he urged. During the short felicitation programme various items were presented by the school children and the community.
