DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2 (MExN): The St Xavier's Catholic Church Kidima celebrated Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God and New Year 2018 with rest of the world with Reverend Father Raymond D’Souza SJ, Director of Eden Garden, Children’s Home, Khuzama on Monday, January 1 at the Church premises.
Father Raymond D’Souza SJ addressing in the occasion said celebration of solemnity Mary the Mother of God was appropriate on New Year. Receiving the blessings of God from New Year and to continue to receive blessings of love, care and providence from God, the Father added.
Incarnation of Mother Mary and Eucharist were the highlights of the daylong celebration. The Father offered a special prayer to new leaders for the church. Kidima Catholic Women’s Association and Vimeyol Ronald and friends presented a gospel hymn for praise and glory of God.
