STINER TFC-NU & NOK organize training on ‘Marketing Strategies’

Dimapur, November 8 (MExN): A one-day training programme on ‘Marketing Strategies’ was held at the community Hall, Molvom village under Medziphema sub-division, Dimapur on November 5.


Organized by STINER-TFC, Nagaland Centre in collaboration with Nagaland Organic Konnect (NOK), the resource person for the programme was Yutho Sangtam, Administrative Coordinator, Entrepreneurs Associate, Kohima.


Four sessions were held in total where the resource person discussed on the importance of effective entrepreneurial ethics, scope of entrepreneurship in the region, art of selling and presenting one’s products, staying updated in the fast developing world, importance of mission statement, values and virtues of an entrepreneur, honesty & sincerity in dealing with customers & banks and the importance of being innovative.


A practical session on accounting and book keeping was also conducted. All the sessions were followed up by interaction, discussion and group activities moderated by Dr Sentirenla Changkiri, Project Assistant, STINER-TFC who also chaired the programme. A total of 25 participants from Molvom and Bungsang villages (who will be participating in the upcoming Pineapple Fest, 2019) took part in the programme.


From STINER-TFC, Nagaland Centre, besides Dr Sentirenla Changkiri (PA), the training was also attended by Professor Akali Sema (PI), Andrew Lalthawmliana (PA), Chubasahi Aier (Mechanic) and six MTS who took part in the various sessions.
