Students from Nagaland participate in Wiz National Spell Bee competition

Dimapur, January 8 (MExN): The students from Wiz National Spell Bee Nagaland participated in the Wiz National Spell Bee competition which was held at South City International School, Kolkata from December 26 to 28. 

This was the third time that the “spelling wizards” of Nagaland took part in the mega national showdown, and they all put up impressive performances, informed a press release issued by Meyirenla Yaden, coordinator, Wiz National Spell Bee Nagaland. 

Thirty two toppers from Peren, Kohima, Zunheboto and Dimapur joined the competition and exhibited much eloquence and determination in the grandest national stage. The results were much better from the previous two years, with majority of them coming under the top position category. All the participants received certificates and trophies, which were deserved accolades for their outstanding performances, the coordinator added. 

The schools that made it to the grand stage included Little Flower Hr Sec School, Kohima; Baptist Hr Sec school, Peren; St. Peter's School Atoizu, Zunheboto; Community Education Centre, Dimapur; Assisi Hr Sec School Dimapur; Holy cross Hr Sec School Dimapur; Christina Memorial Hr Sec School Dimapur; St Mary's Hr Sec School Padum Pukhri; The Maple Tree, Dimapur; Carewell School Dimapur; Livingstone Foundation Hr Sec School Dimapur; Hope Academy, Dimapur; Pilgrim Hr Sec School Dimapur; St John Hr Sec School Dimapur; Lima Aier Hr Sec School Dimapur.
