Parliamentary Secretary for Justice & Law, Er. Picto Shohe on Friday graced the inaugural session of the 26th Biennial Conference of the Saptiqa Area Students’ Union (SATU) at Usutomi local ground as the chief guest.

Touching upon the theme of the conference, “Orienting Success,” Er Picto said it simply meant getting used to success or achievements. “However, getting acquainted with success is not enough in this competitive era. You need to keep improvising your achievements else it will become redundant and out of date,” he added.

Er. Picto encouraged the students to keep striving for success and be a source of inspiration for others.

“There are many formulas for success but most of them are not sustainable and therefore the only strong proof formula for success is to find God Almighty,” he added.

Extracting a passage from Colossians 2:3, “All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him,” Er. Picto urged the students to be strongly rooted in the word of God, be with Him and walk with Him.

He also urged the parents to be responsible and bring up their children with strong faith in the Lord.

During the programme, various cultural performances were presented by Shena Old Students’ Union, Usutomi Students’ Union, Saptiqa Students’ Union and Shena New Students’ Union.

A host of government officials, NPF party leaders and leaders of Atoizu area accompanied the Chief Guest.
