ZUNHEBOTO, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): The Sumi Kukami Hoho has asked the Nagaland Government and the National Highways authority to repair the Mariani to Zunheboto National Highway 702 A. A press release from the hoho said that the road serves as a lifeline and has been a crucial artery for the residents of this region, facilitating the movement of people, goods and essential commodities. It however informed that potholes have become a pervasive problem in the road making it arduous and hazardous. The hoho urgently appealed to the Government of Nagaland and National Highway authority to intervene and take swift action to undertake immediate repair of the road by filling the potholes with stones or any suitable material as an interim measure to provide temporary relief. This temporary solution is essential to ensure the safety and mobility of our people until a more comprehensive and lasting repair can be carried out, it added.
