Team from Mkg visits Tuli and Watiyongpang check gate

Mokokchung, April 7 (MExN): Nagaland Rural Development Minister Mestubo Jamir and Dr Longri, Advisor, National Highways & Treasuries and Accounts, who are also in-charge of Mokokchung district on COVID-19 today visited Tuli sub-division headquarter and Watiyongpang check gate at Assam-Nagaland border to take stock of COVID-19 preparedness in the area.

 

 

At the check gate, the visiting team handed over various items including protective gears, hand sanitizers, hand gloves and masks to the police and the medical team manning the check gate. The visiting team also had interactive discussions with the various personnel manning the check post, who also aired their grievances to the visiting team.

 

 

The team later visited the Tuli CHC where the various protective equipments were also handed over. The visiting team also held a meeting with the Tuli administration and police. The meeting took stock on the preparedness of the sub-division on COVID-19. Later, the team also visited Impur Hospital and handed over protective gears to fight COVID-19. Taking the advantage of their visit to Impur, the team had a sitting with ABAM where various preparedness and awareness aspects were discussed.
