Tenyidie Literary Competition held

Kohima | August 12 : The Ist All Nagaland Inter- Higher Secondary School & College Tenyidie Literary Competition was held here today at the Institute of World Languages under the aegis of Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo and sponsored by Ura Academy.
Gracing the valedictory function as the guest of honour, SCERT director Vipralhou Kesiezie lauded the organizer for conducting such event to popularize Tenyidie in the state.
He also stressed on the need to organize more such event in the near future as well be it essay, poetry, drama, fiction or novel writing.
Dr. D. Kuolie, secretary general Ura Academy, HoD, department of Tenyidie, Nagaland University also exhorted the gathering. The function was chaired by Kereivilie Kire, convenor Organizing Committee.
The winner in essay competition included; Ist- Aseno Theruja, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima, 2nd- Khrieletuonuo Mepfhuo, Christ King Higher Secondary School Kohima and 3rd- Shürhovonuo Tsürho, Mezhür Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
Extempore speech winner: Ist: Keneisenuo Meyase, Oriental College, Kohima, 2nd- Kenihezo Rutsa, Kohima College, Kohima and 3rd- Meyiengonu Tetso, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma.
The competition witnessed participants from Kohima, Dimapur, Phek, Pfutsero and Chozuba.
