Celebrating her 25th publication, Naga Writer Easterine Kire released ‘The Dancing Village,’ a children’s book on October 10 at LCS building with Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu as the Chief Guest.

‘Simple yet beautiful’ is how Dr. Liezietsu described The Dancing Village, adding that the book has been written in very extra ordinary style which contains a very high moral lesson. He noted that the book release is a big moment for Nagas. Giving a brief preview of The Dancing village, Dr. Liezietsu narrated that the story starts in the kitchen of a Sema family, where little boy and his sister listen to their Grandmother’s story of the Dancing Village. The book then takes the reader to the Dancing village where the protagonist is a young Ao boy born to a Zeliang mother who visits his mother’s village. Noting that the book contains fine literature, Dr. Liezietsu commended Kire for her prolific writing of the book which covers all fine literature, particularly poetry.
