Thieving allegation case settled cordially

DIMAPUR, APRIL 6 (MExN): The case wherein one Nitoshe was falsely accused of thieving by a woman has been settled amicably between the parties concerned. News reports concerning the matter had appeared in the local dailies on April 1.   
It was learned that the woman/complainant who had implicated Nitoshe for a theft at her house tendered a written apology and the matter amicably resolved out of court, in the spirit of forgiveness. Zamboni – the complainant in her written apology admitted that the allegation was the result of her impaired vision and expressed regret for causing inconvenience to Nitoshe and his family. “I hereby stand by my statement even in future,” she stated in the letter.
With regard to the subsequent alleged assault of Nitoshe while in custody by ASI Hachio at West Police station on March 29, the same has also been amicably resolved, while the charges against the concerned police officer withdrawn.
