Peren, October 3 (MExN): The 17th Children Conference was held from September 29 to October 1 at Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church with the theme “The Love of God” 1 Corinthians 13. The conference was organised for class eight and above, 1122 delegates attended the conference from different churches under ZBCC, Peren.
The conference supervised by about 150 teachers, mentors and 50 guardians, was held with focus on holistic nurturing, mentoring, counselling and spiritual awakening. Some of the resource persons were Rev. Dr. Elungkiebe, HOD, Peace and Christian Studies, MLCU, Shillong; Rangro Herie, Secretary, Education and Children Department; Hiazu Meru, Deputy Secretary, Government of Nagaland; Rezulule Ndang, Addl. S. P. Kiphire; Dr. Ramdeu Lungalang, M.O. Oking Hospital, Kohima; Er. Cising Michui, Manager, Vishal Mart, Dimapur; Music Team, Patkai; Rev. Dr. Elungkiebe; Dr. Martha and Dr. Ramdeu; Dinsibou Pamei, and Nouzhienino, Career Psychologists
The devotional speakers were Mongzeung Mpom, Pastor, Jalukie Town Local Baptsit Church; Heikwetgong, President, ZBCC, Peren; and Ramhei, Women Leader, Peren Town Baptist Church.
