Kohima, January 16 (MExN): The Children Ministry of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) conducted its 6th Children Rally at Phek Town Baptist Church from January 12 to 14.
The main speakers of the rally were Rev. Dr. Chekroveyi Cho-o, Associate Professor, Oriental Theological Seminary, Dimapur; Thepuchuyi Khesoh, Pastor, Phek Town Baptist Church; Edechoyi Rose, Director, Christian Ministry CBCC; Chinehülü Rhakho, Director, Children & Education department, CBCC; and Dr. Botoholi Achumi, Secretary, Christian Education & Communication Department, NBCC.
The three-day long rally was marked by competitions in theme song, guitar ensemble, worship dance, solo, male voice, Bible storytelling, folk dance and indigenous duet, art and painting etc.
Secheku area and Tizu area bagged first positions in art and painting competition in girls and boys categories respectively.
Town area won first position in both duet (Folk) and guitar ensemble competitions as well as best choir conductor title.
Western area stood first in worship dance competition.
Phek area and Town area grabbed first position in solo contest in girls and boys categories respectively.
Meanwhile, Town area won first place in male voice as well as theme song, while Secheku area bagged first position in story telling competition.
In folk dance competition, Chozuba area bagged the first position.
