Tirong Aboh case: NIA arrests another accused

New Delhi, October 8 (MExN): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another accused identified as Ellie Ketok in connection with the killing of Arunachal Pradesh legislator Tirong Aboh and 10 others on May 21 this year.  A press release from NIA on October 7 informed that Ketok was arrested on October 6 from Dimapur, Nagaland in a joint operation with local Military Intelligence (MI) Unit. A resident of Kheti, under Khonsa Police Station in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh,  the release  identified him as a “Sgt. Major of NSCN-IM” and area commander of Tirap area who was “part of the killing team.”  The NIA stated the probe into the Aboh‘s killing from June and it informed that five accused - Sethok Kangnong, Napong Jenpi @ Jenpi, Jai Kishan Sharma, Luckin Mashangva and Yangte Josaham, were arrested earlier.  Investigation in the case is continuing.
