TOLIC Dimapur holds biannual meeting

Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): The biannual meeting of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Dimapur was held at ARTC&S, Dimapur under the chairmanship of Col Anil Yadav, Commanding Officer, Training Battalion, ARTC&S on August 31.

A total of 35 member representatives from Central Government offices situated in Dimapur attended the meet. The representatives presented their inputs and reports on their respective progresses on implementation of Rajbhasha Hindi at their AORs and sectors, Lt Colonel Bhavana Sharma, Secretary, TOLIC in a press release informed.

Col Anil Yadav stressed upon the importance of progressive use of Hindi and requested all members to implement the policies issued by the Government of India regarding publicity and implementation of the official language policy. Badri Yadav, Research officer (Implementation), Department of Official Language, Regional Implementation Office (NER), also attended the meeting as the representative of Ministry of Home Affairs. Lt Colonel Bhavana Sharma, Secretary, TOLIC delivered the welcome speech followed by a detailed brief on the various aspects of the TOLIC meet by Naib Subedar (Hindi Translator) Deshraj of ARTC&S.
