Total Sanitation Campaign culminates successfully

Under the sponsorship of WSSO (PHED) Government of Nagaland, the Chakhesang Women Welfare Society (CWWS) organized three phases of Total Sanitation Campaign in Chozuba on October 31, Pfutsero on November 30 and which culminate at Phek on December 6 last.
Temsu Naro ADC, Chozuba, Robert Longchari, ADC Pfutsero and Mikha Lomi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek graced the function on three different occasions respectively. It is to be noted that consultants from PHE departments and staffs from CWWS were the resource persons during the three phase’s sanitation campaign
“Good sanitary practices”, “Importance of Sanitation for Good Community Health”, and “Practical Issues on Conduct of TSC at Grass Root level” were some of the topics for the entire campaign. VCCs, VDB secretaries, Youth Organizations women society, pastors and women pastors from different denominations were the delegates of the campaign.
During the culmination round of campaign following resolutions were adopted thereof and further resolved complete its implementation process before March 2012
1.       Re-maintaining of the village wells
2.      To have one proper dumping place in every village
3.      To construct a bathroom and toilet for every household
4.      Making public dustbins
Expressing its gratitude to the WSSO (PHED) government of Nagaland for tirelessly supporting the campaign, CWWS Executive Director, Achule Kanuo said the campaign was cent percent successful campaign and was immensely benefited by one and all.
