Training on election expenditure monitoring mechanism held

Mokokchung, January 15 (DIPR): One day training programme for officials appointed under various teams for election expenditure monitoring mechanism was held at Mokokchung Town Hall on January 12.  

The officials and personnel appointed under Complaint Monitoring Control Room and Call Center, Assistant Expenditure Observers, Video Viewing Teams, Video Surveillance Teams, Accounting Teams, Flying Squad Teams, Static Surveillance Teams and officials for Media Certification and Monitoring Cell attended the training.  

DC and District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal in his keynote addressed called on the trainees to be aware of their respective electioneering duty, and said that more intensive training will be conducted after the declaration of the election in the state.  

The training was conducted by Assistant Commissioner, Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS. More than two hundred officials from various teams under Election Expenditure Monitoring attended the programme.  

Strengthening of the election expenditure monitoring mechanism is aimed at purifying the forthcoming state assembly election.
