DIMAPUR, JULY 3 (MExN): The inaugural edition of Ao Temulung Championship, a Mokokchung district open table tennis tournament got underway here today organized by Pongen Khel Sports Association (PKSA), Mopungchuket under the aegis of Mokokchung District Table Tennis Association (MDTTA). A total number of 26 players from across the district are participating in the tournament. The tournament is being played in three formats – Men’s Juniors (Under 19) singles and doubles, Men’s Seniors (Above 19) singles and doubles, and Women’s open category. The two-day tournament, played at the Community Hall, Mopungchuket was declared open by the president of MDTTA, Watitoshi Ao as special guest. Umpires from the MDTTA are officiating the matches.
