Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): One unidentified dead body of a male (30-35 years approx) was found lying inside the track at km 254/4-3 towards Rangapahar crossing, Dimapur on November 17.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur in a press release stated that inquest was conducted over the dead body and the cause of death was suspected to be run over by a moving train. On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for post mortem examination. The deceased was wearing white color t-shirt and grey jean long-pant with sneaker shoes. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge/GRPS, Dimapur.
On November 12, one unidentified male dead body (approx 40 years) was found lying beside railway track at KM261/8-9 towards Khatkhati, Assam with multiple injuries on head, hand, leg and body. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for post mortem examination. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur.
