‘Uphold integrity & principle for development’

Torechu inaugurates Moya-Amikioro-Mutenkhong approach road constructed under DUDA (BADP)

Moya/Pungro, January 9 (MExN): Advisor of Evaluation, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), T. Torechu called upon the peoples to uphold the ‘integrity and principle’ for the human resource development in the region.  

Speaking as chief guest at the inauguration of Moya-Amikioro-Mutenkhong approach road constructed under DUDA (BADP) on January 6, Torechu pleaded upon the people to preserve ‘unity and peace’ amongst the various section of the society, as ‘peace and unity is the primary concern for development.’  

Torechu further pointed out that, such kind of development to the rural people is the path of ‘progress and prosperity’ to enhance ease of travel and reduce cost of transportation which inculcate for promotion of socio-economic development of the region.  

He also said that, the social empowerment and human resource development are the most essential developmental aspects in the areas and called upon the people to maintain and preserve ‘the fruit of development’ for the sustainable of livelihood and survival of humanity. Torechu urged upon the people to emulate the spirit of brotherhood and to look ahead with vision so that, development reached in to the far-flung areas. He further appealed the people to change their mindset with positive attitude and join hand and work together with utmost commitment in order to develop the rural areas and to change in every developmental aspect.  

The dedicatory programme was prayed by pastor Amikioro Baptist church M. Thsaling. The chief guest was accompanied by SDO (Civil) Pungro, Samuel Thyug , party workers and area leaders.
