Kohima, July 8 (MExN): 164 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) Naga organized Van Mahotasav week from July 1 to 7 at Meluri alongwith Security Forces. Meluri Forest Dept, St Xaviers Convent School Meluri, Christian Missionary School Meluri, Baptist Church Meluri Village and St Michael Church Khumiisii participated in the event.
Benjamin, Officiating ADC Meluri graced the occasion. 2500 saplings of various trees and fruits were planted. A ‘Go Green March’ was also organised from Meluri Local ground to Meluri Council Hall to make the local populace aware of the importance of Green Environment.
