The system is expected to be commissioned in 8 more stations by June 2020 and this would help eliminate the problem of passenger complaints arising out of non-availability of water in coaches, it said.

In addition, 840 sleeper class coaches have been provided with 36 Mobile charging points from existing 18 for improved passenger amenity, it said.

“Project Swarn” has been started to upgrade the condition of Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains and this initiative has resulted in giving improved interiors in the coaches due to upgraded coach interior, toilet and on board services, the release added.
