Vital keys towards Indo-Naga Political Settlement

While appreciating the untiring peace initiatives undertaken by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR); and positive responses from all sections of Naga peoples especially the Naga national workers; the Concerned Senior Citizens Forum of Mokokchung desires to appeal to different factions who are fighting for a common cause of Naga National destiny to sincerely listen to the call of Naga peoples for bringing total peace and unity of all Nagas during this golden chance of ceasefire period without wasting time.
1.    That, recognizing each other as Naga patriots having equal responsibilities, every faction should forgive and forget each other in the first place for common cause of the Naga Nation which is so dear to every Naga; burying all personal grudgeness without measuring the amount of each other’s weaknesses whatsoever in the name of God as Christians and in Naga way, because there is no other better alternative than to apply this method towards bringing a reachable solution to such a long pending Indo-Naga political struggle which lies heavier in the hands of the Nagas in the first place; rather than in the hands of the Government of India.
2.    That, a Platform of Naga Consultative Meet should be worked out in the Highest Level as desires by the Joint Working Group representing three prominent Groups at the earliest possible time, where the representatives of top ranking Naga patriots from different factions should exercise their best wisdom taking their positive experiences for salvaging the Naga Nation during their times proving themselves as Naga Nelson Mandela making a new chapter in Naga political history.
3.    Where as, this is not the time for criticizing each other nor claiming championship or pioneer ship over the Indo-Naga political history, narrating the past old stories repeatedly; but to ponder together towards finding a practical political solution maintaining only one Naga National Army under one Naga National Government instead of maintaining different Governments/nomenclatures. This is quite possible that can be emerged as a result of point No 1 and 2 above.
4.    Where as, the meeting point of  practical reconciliation should be found under the principles of undeniable historical facts and unique political history and situation that have been taken place on 14th August,1947, Naga National plebiscite conducted on 16th May, 1951, recognition of Naga Nation as a bonafide member under the aegis of  Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization  (UNPO) hoisting its National Flag on 23rd January, 1993 at the UNPO Headquarters of the Hague Netherlands amongst the world Nations followed by recognition of Uniqueness of Naga Political History and its situation by the Government of India on 11th July, 2002 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and many other historical facts that took place under different situations in pursuit of Naga political rights.
5.    Where as, all Nagas are one today and they should be one even tomorrow learning deeper, the art of living together in the midst of globalization, sharing the benefits of communities of the world nations in our hands; protecting and upholding the dignity of Naga national political principles.
6.    And, for that cause, every Naga faction should appreciate the on-going peace process and political negotiations that are taking place at the highest level towards reaching an honorable and acceptable settlement between the Government of India and the Nagas for which cause, every concerned Naga citizen irrespective of organizations or communities should contribute their best joining hands together in the process of heart to heart reconciliation amongst the Nagas, enlarging the scope of political negotiation between the Government of India and the Nagas. This is the fundamental key to forward move on Indo-Naga political settlement.
