WCH honours HSLC & HSSLC students

Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): Emphasizing on the need to be persistent to succeed in life, Husazu Epao, principal Patkai Christian College urged students to invest their time wisely on June 9. He was addressing the HSLC and HSSLC students’ felicitation programme organised by Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) as guest speaker at Chakhesang Hoho building here.

“To achieve success, you have to be realistic in your approach towards life and sacrifice for continued successes,” he said, adding “every individual writes their own story, be it a successful one or a sorry one.” Epao also stressed on the need for students to avoid abusing electronic gadgets, which he observed was affecting study hours, stated a press release issued by WCH press secretary, Kevi Soho.

The PCC principal further reminded the students that there is no magic potion for success except hard work. He also asked the students to choose their subject of study and educational institutions wisely.

WCH president, Dietho Rhakho in his address reminded the students not to forget tradition and culture while pursuing education. He encouraged them to work harder to bring more laurels to the Chakhesang community in the days to come.

Altogether, 223 students under WCH cleared their HSLC and HSSLC exams. WCH awarded certificates and gifts to all successful candidates. Cash incentives were also awarded to two toppers and one subject topper. Rev. Dr. Nuvocho Dzudo, chairman, Western Chakhesang Baptist Church Council said special prayer for the students.
