  Agro Met Field Unit ICAR, Jharnapani. Medziphema   Rainfall over the country as a whole for the 2018 southwest monsoon season (June to September) is most likely to be normal. Southwest monsoon has set in over Kerala, the 29th May 2018, 3 days ahead of its normal date. Total rainfall received in Dimapur district during May month was 135.5 mm which was 14% less than the normal, with the highest rainfall of 27.0 mm recorded on 23rd May ‘18. Total number of rainy day was 10.
