Kiphire, January 24 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire Sarita Yadav has directed that a regular weekly market in Kiphire Town will begin from January 31. Yadav in a notification said this will help and promote the farmers, local entrepreneurs, self-help groups etc to provide agri linkage and marketing prospects to other markets and town.
According to a DIPR report, the weekly market will also provide easy access for public to local produce and other basic commodities. The market will be held in Kiphire town daily market area from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, with Administrator Kiphire town council as in-charge in organizing and monitoring the market.
The DC has appealed to the general public, village council, town wards, NGOs organization to participate and also informed all the interested persons to bring their products, wares for sell at a nominal fee of Rs 10.
