Mokokchung, July 11 (MExN): A workshop on inter-cultural relationship was organized by the Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) for the graduating students of B.D and M.Th on July 10 at Clark Theological College (CTC).
The resource person for the workshop was Arenla Mar, who is presently doing her Masters in Communication Studies at Bob Jones University, South Carolina, USA. She emphasized on two important areas: Culture and need for intercultural competence in today’s world and barriers and assessment of intercultural competence, informed a press release from the college.
Altogether, 78 students attended the workshop, the main objective of which was to prepare the students understand more about diverse cultures and communicate effectively as they face the challenges and pressures of diverse cultural practices, values, beliefs and lifestyle in their ministries.
