Mon, July 29 (MExN): World Hepatitis Day 2016 was observed by Mon Users’ Network with support from HepCoN, NUN, Kripa Foundation, NNP+ and NSACS with the theme ‘Elimination’ at Shansham Office, Mon on July 28.
The brief programme began with an invocation by Nahnyei, Data Manager, OST DH, while Sashi, Secretary, MUN and the event in-charge briefly highlighted the significance of the day.
Longyim Tzudir, DPO, DAPCU in his short address thanked the organizers for taking initiative to make people aware of Hepatitis by observing the worldwide event in Mon. He further emphasized on the need for awareness on prevention and treatment of viral Hepatitis in the district.
