Wokha, October 28 (MExN): The Wozhuro Range Students’ Union (WRSU) has expressed serious concern over the frequent breakdown of transformer at Tesophenyu village. In a statement, the union stated Wozhuro range and all consumers concerned have been facing a total power shutdown from October first week till date.
“However, no positive action has been done from the department concerned,” it added.
Taking serious note of the immense hardship faced by the public and students in particular in view of the forthcoming examinations, the union requested the department concerned to look into the matter seriously and make necessary arrangements for quick repair or installation of the transformer.
Further, WRSU president, M Robin Lotha and general secretary, Nchumthung urged the authority responsible to sort out necessary steps to avoid frequent breakdown of the transformer which results in large inconveniences.
