Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): The 64th annual youth conference of WSBAK was held at Quhoi village from January 14 to 16 under the theme ‘you are great in God’s eyes.’
The theme of the conference was shared by Rev Ikuto Zhimo, youth secretary, WSBAK at the inaugural function while Kakheli Inato delivered a message on the topic ‘Discover a new beginning.’ She also urged TLW pledge card holder to be faithful in their commitment and serve as living example.
The youth secretary, WSBAK also said in a press release that Rev. S. Vitoshe Swu, ES, WSBAK spoke on the topic ‘delay is not denial’; Y. Hewoto Awomi, MLA encouraged the youth to spread the good news to those who failed to understand the love of God so as to bring them back to the main fold. The youth has great potential and the necessary changes come only through good youth to lift our society. He also extended financial assistances towards WSBAK youth department. Dr. Kuhoi Zhimomi, highlighted the impact of mass media on youth, he said that it changes the process of our thinking and because of mass media we have no more human touch in which we should not misuse the technology but utilize and life judiciously in a positively to prepare for our future.
Rev. Helkath Kappo, spoke on ‘the decision of life’ where he challenged the youths saying that ‘if you turn away from God, you will certainly be destroyed but for those who keep his command will live and that the living God will bless you.’
